Clinical Director of Transcending Consulting Group in Denver. We offer bilingual addiction/ Mental health services to system involved adult and youth in the Denver Metro Area. I previously worked as a Diversion officer for Denver DA's Office for 4 years, previous to that I was a Drug Court Probation Officer for 7 years. Through out this time, I gained vast experience working with poverty stricken youth and families. After seven years in the Criminal Justice field, I decided to implement my counseling skill for positive change in the lives of those that cross my path. Previous to my CJ career, I was a State Youth Director for Southwestern Spanish Church of God Territory (Southern California and Arizona) for 5 years. During this time, I was able to train other youth leaders, conduct diversity and cultural training for leaders, facilitate groups of self-improvement and development in Lima, Peru.
